Description:

Web site companion to the PBS series "American Experience." Provides information about programs, links to companion Web sites, a broadcast schedule, and information for kids and teachers. Civil rights programs in the series include the Eyes on the Prize program, biographies of Alabama governor George Wallace, civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and a documentary of the murder of Emmett Till.

The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
