Title:Kentuckiana Digital Library
Description:

A statewide digital library initiative providing online finding aids, images, and oral history transcripts and sound files. Archival collections with civil rights materials inlude papers from Berea College, an integrated college in Kentucky founded before the Civil War, various family papers, and the Victor Howard Collection focusing on civil rights and church-state materials. Civil rights digital images may be found in the Portrait Print collection and the Lexington Herald-Leader photograph collection. Four interviews from the Robert Penn Warren Civil Rights Oral History project are available both with transcripts and audio files.

The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
