Letter from Walter White, NAACP Executive Secretary, to Jesse Owens, Olympic track star, dated December 4, 1935. White attempts to persuade Owens to not participate in the 1936 Berlin Olympic games to protest the political ideologies of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi government in Germany.
