Located in UGA's Ilah Dunlap Little Memorial Library, the collection is a remarkable treasure of moving-image history focusing on Atlanta and the surrounding region. It contains more than 5 million feet of original newsfilm, both edited and unedited footage, from 1948 to 1981. The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata. |
