Program from the August 26, 1990 event for the 1991 film Separate But Equal, hosted by the South Carolina Conference of Branches of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Charleston, South Carolina. The film is based on the Clarendon County, South Carolina, school segregation case, also known as Briggs v. Elliott. The program lists words by cast members, which include Sidney Poitier and Burt Lancaster, by Executive Producer, Director, and Writer George Stevens, Jr., and by Joseph A. DeLaine, Jr., on his father, Joseph A. DeLaine, Sr.

The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
