DeLaine, Sr. of Hollis, Long Island, New York, claiming no recollection of Harry Briggs' case. Wilkins notes that the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. under Thurgood Marshall is a separate organization. Wilkins also reminds DeLaine of assistance NAACP provided to farmers in Clarendon County, South Carolina. Wilkins offers to meet with DeLaine to discuss Harry Briggs' case and to decide how best to assist him. The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata. |
