Petitioners include members of the Briggs, Henry, and Brown families and lawyers Henry Boulware of Columbia, South Carolina, and Thurgood Marshall of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. This copy is a fragment of the original petition, only including the first of five pages and missing the final two words, respectfully present. The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata. |
