| Description: | Letter from H. M. Dreyer, manager of Personnel and Public Relations for the Esso Standard Oil Company in Columbia, South Carolina in reply to Joseph A. DeLaine, Sr., of Lake City, South Carolina. Dreyer expresses the company's regrets that DeLaine has been subject to the alleged discourtesies of employees at the Lake City station. He states that Esso is not responsible for the behavior of is dealers or their employees and promises to pass the complaint on to the dealer operating the Lake City station. The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata. |
