Photograph of the tombstone for Moses and Laura Martin, early settlers of the Liberty Hill area in Clarendon County, South Carolina. Moses and Laura Martin founded the Liberty Hill African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church and the Liberty Hill School.

The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
