Quote from document: "In 1948 the U.N. General Assembly all voted with the help of U.S. delegates to create the U.N. Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide... In 1970, 22 years after the creation of the convention the U.S. and South Africa are the only two major nations which have not signed the Anti-Genocide Treaty. 75 other nations have already signed it."

The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
