Search Fields
- Keyword:
- Locates records that contain your search terms in the title field, narrative description of the photographs, and list topics found in the image description.
- Title:
- Locates records that contain your search terms in the title field. Not only is the title assigned by DLG staff searchable, but alternative versions of the title that account for variant spellings may also be searched.
- Subject:
- Locates records which include your search terms in the subject fields. Subjects include topics, time periods, and geographic areas. For a complete list of the subjects used in the database, you may browse the indexes.
- Dates:
- Locates records which contain your search term in the date field. The date the photograph was taken, rather than the date of scanning, is found within this field.
