Brokaw, Tom
Biography:
Television journalist. From 1962 to 1965, Brokaw reported in Omaha, Nebraska. He covered in Civil Rights Movement in Atlanta in 1965 and soon moved on to NBC in Los Angeles in 1966. Brokaw moved to Washington, D.C. and became the NBC White House correspondent during the Watergate era. Anchor of NBC News' Today from 1976-82, he served as sole anchor of NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw from 1983 to 2004.
