Brown, Luvaghn, 1945-
Biography:
At the age of sixteen, Luvaghn Brown (also known as Luvaghn Stamps) was arrested for his participation in a sit-in in a Jackson, Mississippi Walgreens lunch counter on July 11, 1961. In October of that year he was also arrested while picketing outside Jackson's fairgrounds. In August of 1962, Brown would join the SNCC staff in Greensboro, Mississippi.
