Browning, Joan C.
Biography:
A nineteen-year old, white SNCC activist and former student at Georgia State College for Women, Browning rode the Central Georgia Railroad as part of a Freedom Ride from Atlanta, Georgia to Albany, Georgia on December 10, 1961 and was arrested.
