Biography:
Lead plaintiff in the case Vivian Calhoun et al. v. A. C. Latimer et al. (Calhoun v. Latimer); a lawsuit filed against the Atlanta, Georgia public schools in 1958 for failing to comply with the 1954 Supreme Court decision Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas and end public school segregation.
