Dalbert, Edmond, 1936-
Biography:
Born in Hamlin, Texas, Edmond Dalbert, Jr. was living in Los Angeles, California and working as a postal clerk when he was arrested for his participation in the Freedom Rides. Dalbert was arrested in the Illinois Central terminal in Jackson, Mississippi on 9 July 1961 after he and eight others participated in a Freedom Ride from New Orleans, Louisiana to Jackson, Mississippi.
