Hamilton, C. S. (Charles Spencer), 1927-1997
Biography:
Reverend Charles Spencer Hamilton (May 12, 1927-May 15, 1997) accepted the call to serve at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia, June 1956. He was a leader in the local integration struggle in Augusta. After forty years of service at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Hamilton retired in October 1996.
