Biography:
Civil rights worker arrested in Selman, Alabama on February 1, 1965 in Selma, Alabama. According to the Alabama Dept. of Public Safety's publication, Individuals active in civil disturbances, he was a member of the Chicago-based Presbyterian Interracial Council, one of the more than twenty groups that made up the Coordinating Council of Community Organizations (CCCO).
