Leonard, Frederick
Biography:
Frederick Leonard was a student at Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee when he was arrested in Montgomery, Alabama for his participation in a May 17 through May 21 Freedom Ride. Leonard was arrested a second time in Jackson, Mississippi on May 28, 1961 after he rode a Greyhound bus from Nashville, via Memphis, Tennessee, to Jackson, Mississippi.
