Maguire, John David
Biography:
John David Maguire was one of the Freedom Riders who left Atlanta May 24, 1961 and was arrested the next day for trying to integrate the lunch counter at the bus station in Montgomery, Alabama. Maguire was assistant professor of religion at Wesleyan University at Middletown, Conn. at the time.
