Biography:
Montgomery, Alabama African American business entrepreneur and barber to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Malden was a graduate of Alabama State College and a member of Dexter Avenue King Memorial Church. During the mid-1960s, Malden served as sales manager for the Southern Courier newspaper.
