Biography:
John Henry McCray was an African American journalist and newspaper editor. He worked with the South Carolina Lighthouse and Informer; the Charleston Messenger; the Pittsburgh Courier as the Carolina editor; the Baltimore Afro-American; the Chicago Defender, and the Atlanta World.
