Biography:
Milwaukee, Wisconsin civil rights worker and leading member of the NAACP Youth Commandos, the security unit of Milwaukee's NAACP Youth Council (formed to protect NAACP civil rights workers from hostile and violent counterdemonstrators) in 1967.
