Morey, Hunter, 1940-
Biography:
Hunter Morey was a civil rights worker and active member of SNCC, COFO, ACLU and the Child Development Group of Mississippi. During the 1960s Morey, along with other civil rights activists and students from the Jackson area, participated in an Anti-Vietnam War demonstration during a visit from Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara.
