Paschal, Elisha B., d. 1962
Biography:
Reverend Elisha B. Paschal moved to Macon, Georgia in 1958 to assume pastoral duties at the Tremont Temple Baptist Church. On Saturday, Feb. 9, 1962 he along with three other ministers (Evans, Malone, Rancifer) were arrested for refusing to move to the back of the bus, sparking a bus boycott in Macon which eventually led to the system's integration.
