Shively, James, 1922-
Biography:
Educated Louisville Central High School and the Louisville Municipal College, in the 1930s and 1940s. Later served in a segregated signal corps unit in Italy during World War II. Finished college on the G.I. Bill following the war, and faced discrimination in finding a job after completing his education.
