Thompson, Jean C. (Jean Catherine), 1942-
Biography:
Jean Catherine Thompson was one of the Freedom Riders arrested in Jackson, Mississippi on May 24, 1961. Thompson worked with several other CORE projects in the 1960s. Her sisters Alice and Shirley Thompson were also Freedom Riders. She also participated in the December 1, 1961 Freedom Ride from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to McComb, Mississippi.
