Weber, Ernest Newell, 1909-2003

Biography:

Ernest Newell Weber was a fifty-two year old self-employed photographer when he was arrested in Jackson, Mississippi for his participation in a Freedom Ride. As part of the Freedom Ride, Weber and six others took a bus from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Jackson, Mississippi where they were arrested at the Trailways terminal on 6 June 1961.
