Biography:

Thomas Jackson White, Jr. worked as a civil and criminal lawyer in eastern North Carolina and served in both houses of the North Carolina General Assembly in the 1950s and 1960s. He also worked as a lobbyist and with the governing bodies of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.--From Oral Histories of the American South biography.
